Finally the showstopper is back...haha. Wohoo...happy national day again people...even though it was like say...1hr 21mins ago?
Just as it was every year, I didn't manage to get any NDP tickets be it rehersal or actual. But as it would be, this year parade was held at Marina Bay as the National Stadium was to be torn down to rebuild it.
The stories goes on and on and *proof*...I was at Marina Bay. I wanted to watch the fireworks so I decided to go to Marina Bay alone (ya alone again). City Hall was damn crowded I would say and I squeeze here and there before I reached the Esplanade. Even then was more squeezing. Damn man...there was so many APNNs around. And I needa squeeze pass APNNs after APNNS and after APNNS before I manage to get a nice spot for my ass that allow mi to get a glimpse of the parade from where I was standing.
There I was standing and watching the parade unfold before my eye with APNNs squeezing me (I did not move as I was solid as a rock of course) and squeezing other people. In the end a fat ass lady lose her temper and scolded those APNNs...and oh did I mention, it was hilarious to see APNNs and china worker trying to communicate in English...haha. Maybe they should understand that squeezing to the front wun get you any more space...if it did then I would be upfront already.
Being live at the bay and catching glimpse of the parade is sure a different feeling then watching the whole parade from home from the television...yupz...even a glimpse of it even though it would be better at the floating platform.
The experience is different...seeing the helicopter fly the National Flag pass you, the fireworks live, the Coast Guard patrol boat live in action, the parachuters flying down and more and more and more. It is the same theory as watching a love story unfold on the television screen but you need to really experience it by yourself to really know what it feels like, what love is and why love is essential to every single human being.
Well hope that I can get the tickets for next year parade...please please...I really want to see the parade live at the floating platform. If not I think I needa get my ass back in Marina Bay squeezing with APNNs again. Well I will uploads photo if I have the time...(and not lazy)
